Dear HR professionals, Recently, I have taken on the responsibility of HR recruitment, interviews, leaves, attendance, etc., in addition to CRM and other technical aspects. Our company is involved in fruit and vegetable procurement and supply chain processes in B2B and B2C segments across Maharashtra (MH), Gujarat (GJ), and Rajasthan (RJ).

I would appreciate it if you could provide guidance on the annual leave structure, earned leaves, and deductions as per the prevailing government acts.

It appears you are governed by the State Shops & Establishment Act and follow its provisions. In case you have a cold storage, the Factories Act of 1948 would apply; then you have to follow the annual leave provisions therein. The applicability of the State Industrial Establishment (Standing Orders) Act also needs to be considered for deciding the quantum of leave.
