Resigned Early from CTS: How to Confirm My Official Last Working Day?

muskaan-mahendru
Resigned from CTS on 9th September 2021. I was trying for an early release or buyout option for about 22 days of my 60-day notice period. I had served 22 days. Despite my best efforts for early release, there was no response. Due to some personal reasons, I was unable to work after 30th September. I informed my HR and manager via email that I would not be working after 30th September and returned the assets. I would like to know what the last working day will be written on the relieving letter or updated on the UAN portal. My notice period was supposed to end on 5th November 2021. Could you please confirm my last working day, as my Outlook is still active?

In the situation described, the last working day that will likely be mentioned on your relieving letter or updated on the UAN portal would be 30th September 2021. Since you informed your HR and manager via email that you would not be working after that date due to personal reasons and returned the assets, it signifies the end of your active work period.

Considering your notice period was until 5th November 2021, the company may acknowledge your last working day as 30th September, the day you effectively stopped working. This is a common practice in many organizations when employees are unable to complete their full notice period due to valid reasons.

It's advisable to communicate with your HR department to confirm the exact last working day that will be documented on your relieving letter and updated on the UAN portal. This will ensure clarity and alignment between all parties involved.
