Worried About Hiding Previous Job on Resume? What Happens If New Employer Finds Out?

I have worked in a company for just 2.5 months. It was my first job. Now I have been selected by a new company, and I didn't tell them about my previous employment. Since I am a fresher, I didn't want to show it on my resume. Will there be any consequences if the company finds out about my previous employment after I share my UAN? Please help.

In general, no one minds if you have more experience than you have shared. However, it depends on what you have said, why you hid the employment, and the mindset of the new employers. With the little information you have shared, I cannot comment.
