Are Spiritual Management Workshops Truly Beneficial for Decision Makers in the US?

In the US, top management people from all companies are participating in spiritual management workshops. Is it really serving the purpose of decision management/strategic management roles?

Hi Suresh, it's about teaching important aspects of the Bhagavad Gita / Vedic books. You know, this holy book covers all the parts of management that a company or individual requires. I think Swami Parthasarathy is conducting the workshop, as reviewed in BUSINESSWORLD magazine. He also mentions that the US people started this, but it will take another 10 years for Indians to know about this. I cannot accept this. Is anybody listening?

You have to agree that, despite being blessed with numerous contributions from great personalities in India, Indians are often the last ones to adopt them. We don't value these contributions and consistently try to emulate Western culture. However, we are unable to fully embrace Western culture and often end up accomplishing nothing. In contrast, people in the West appreciate these "great sayings" and incorporate them into their lives.

We are always looking forward to what the Western world is ready to offer us, but back at home, we neglect what our own land is ready to give us. We have enough spiritual knowledge lying in our Vedas and Upanishads, but we are not ready to accept it. Whatever has to come, it has to come from the Western world. It could be yoga, khadi, or even corn (American corn).

So the management of the company should indulge in some spiritual practices to make better decisions in their lives as well as in their office work.
