How Should We Count Leave When It Falls Between Paid Holidays? Seeking Clarification

One of our employees is on leave on Saturday, 11th, 2021, but Friday and Sunday are paid holidays. How should this be treated - as one day or three days? Please clarify according to the leave rules/notification. Our office is located in Telangana.

Kindly check your HR policies first. If it is not mentioned there, treat it as a normal leave. However, if the individual is on leave for Monday as well, you need to consider it as a 4-day leave.
