ESIC Applicability for Daycare Health Setup Is it mandatory for a private limited company engaged in a daycare health setup (employing more than 20 employees) to cover its employees under ESIC?

ESIC Code for Specific States Does the company have a choice to obtain an ESIC Code for particular states where it's found necessary for the employees working in that state for a company operating PAN India?

ESIC Applicability for the Hospital Industry

Answer: No, the requirement is to arrange for first aid and emergency treatment. The employee will be referred to a nearby ESI Hospital or ESI Doctor for necessary treatment. As it is the hospital industry, there should not be any issue with the above arrangement.
