Salary Analysis and comparison with market rate (for an IT Company)

One of my clients - an IT Company is looking to do Salary Analysis - to find if they are paying as per market rate.
They want us to do this for them. Any particular process to be followed. Can anyone please help me with this?

It will be required to make market survey either by the organization or by the experts available in the market. It is also required to know from the client about the type of organizations ( size, nature of business etc.) they are looking for.

This type of survey consists of cash component comparison, Retire benefits, Perks, Leave rule, Incentive if any, Bonus, variable pay if any etc. etc.

Comparison at CTC level considering similar items are also useful.
