Hi, I am working at a consultancy company and facing the following issues:
Leave Policy Discrepancy
- During the interview, they promised an attractive leave policy, but in the appointment letter, the leave policy was completely changed.
Relocation Delays
- They assured me to relocate near my home within 3-4 months, but now, after 3 months, they are delaying the shift and asking me to wait for another 7-8 months. Furthermore, they mentioned that even after that period, I will only be near my home for 10-15 days a month, spending the rest 15-20 days away.
Verbal Agreements and Notice Period
- All these agreements were verbal, and I have no written proof.
- The appointment has a 3-month notice period.
I have already sent a resignation email mentioning these reasons, but I have not received a response yet. I wish to leave immediately but fear potential legal consequences. Should I leave now or wait out the notice period?
I hold the position of Assistant Quality Manager with a salary between 20k and 30k. Kindly advise if additional information is needed to address my concerns.
