I am an experienced professional working in a tech organization, and the position I applied for is with Big4 for consulting on risk advisory.

Although I am not currently working in the risk advisory domain, I have a solid knowledge and understanding of the financial world, including passing the CFA exam. I put in a lot of effort to prepare for this interview, considering how challenging it is to secure a front office role (such as Equity Risk Analyst and Trade Advisory) position in Big4.

I am curious to know whether the projects, clients, and industries I have worked in will be checked/verified during the background verification process, either directly or through my reporting manager. What specific information is typically requested as part of the BGV?

I have undergone two BGV processes before, and HR usually inquired about details such as my current position, duration of employment, employee ID, and requested verification of proof of experience documents. Please correct me if my understanding is inaccurate.
