WAGES MORE THAN 15000 NON EPS MEMBER GIVE SERVICE DETAILS PRIOR TO 01.09.2014 IF ANY TRANSFER IN

Please guide me on the below issue:

I had EPF and EPS accounts since 2014, which I withdrew in 2016. For close to ten months, there was no PF contribution. In 2017, I changed jobs. However, due to a mistake, my new employer created a new UAN, and my PF accumulation went into that account. Since then, I have changed companies a few times. I am now trying to transfer all my PF to one account, but my request is getting rejected due to "WAGES MORE THAN 15000 NON EPS MEMBER GIVE SERVICE DETAILS PRIOR TO 01.09.2014 IF ANY TRANSFER IN". Please let me know what to do here.

Hi Sir,

Have you resolved this issue? If so, can you tell me what the solution is?

Please note that any excluded employee under the EPF Act is not entitled to EPS contributions as per the EPF Scheme. An employee who joins the EPF Scheme with wages above Rs. 15,000 post September 2014 or an employee who has received a settlement and then rejoins post September 2014, and if their EPF wages are above Rs. 15,000, they are not eligible for pension contributions. Therefore, the entire EPF contribution shall be remitted to the EPF Account only, with no EPS.

If such contributions are made in error, the employer should correct them by submitting a request letter using Form 3 and ECR copies for the relevant period.
