The causes of poor IR are as following:-
1. Lack of credibility on the part of management .
2. Poor or lack of Communication .
3. Lack of fair play and transparency on the part of management .
4. Lack of professional freedom to HR/IR Managers .
5. Unresolved grievances/delayed redressal of grievances.
6. Lack of respect and regard to workforce.
7. Creating groups to get over crisis, without realising its long term implications on IR .
8. lack of bilateral & effective mechanism to deal with issues and problem.
