How Can We Claim EPF Funds from a Trust When Transfer Isn't an Option?

Dear all, an employee worked in a company where EPF was maintained as a Trust. He left the company and joined the State Bank of India. He applied for the withdrawal of accumulated funds from the Trust. Since he found employment within three months, it is not possible to withdraw the funds. Transferring the amount to the SBI EPF account is also not possible as per the rules. Can you help us with how to claim the fund from the Trust?

Process for Transferring Your PF Account

To initiate the process of transferring your PF account, you need to contact your previous employer. Request the transfer form (Form 13) from them. Once you have the form, fill it out and ensure it is signed by your previous employer. Submit the completed form to either your previous employer or their PF trust. They will then process the transfer and move the funds to your present PF account based on the details provided in Part B of the form.
