EPS ELIGIBLITY FOR EMPLOYEE HAVING WAGES ABOVE 15000

HRA=6000
CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE=1000
TOTAL GROSSS=22000
QUESTION- HE IS A FRESH MEMBER , FIRST TIME REGISTRATION TO EPF.. HAVENT BEEN UNER EPF NEVER BEFORE...
DO THE HE IS ELIGIBLE FOR EPS? OR WHOLE 12 % EMPLOYER CONTRIBUITON WILL GO TO EPF ACCOUNT ?
PLEASE GUIDE IN ABOVE MATTER AS PER NOTOFOCATION RELASED OF 1 SEP 2014 FOR 15000 WAGES OF EPS

The employee is eligible for EPS membership. On and after 01.09.2014 if any employee joins as fresh candidate - he will be eligible for EPS membership up to Basic & DA 15,000/-. If Basic and DA is beyond 15,000/- per month, then the entire contribution will be deposited to PF account only.

There is circular from EPFO in August,2014 regarding the above subject. One may search from EPFO site to get the same.
