Can a person be employed in the unskilled category (as a housekeeper) after attaining the age of 60 years? All labor law professionals are requested to please respond.

Yes, it is possible. If his PF gross is 15,000/- or below, he will be entitled to PF but not to the pension fund. If not, he is an excluded employee (a previous member of PF who settled PF and pension after attaining the age of 58 years). If he is covered under ESI, the same has to be complied with, and he will also be entitled to gratuity in the future.
