Salary Hike - increment of 15% to my Gross salary - Will the 15% amount directly go and sit with the Basic component?

Hi, Suppose i was given an increment of 15% to my Gross salary.
Will the 15% amount directly go and sit with the Basic component? or will the incremented amount distribute to all components?
Help me with this

Usual practice to distribute in all monthly items but depends on organization's remuneration policy.
