Need Help with BOCW Registration Process – Can Anyone Guide Me?

Kindly help me with how to do the registration for BOCW.

Hi,

It is applicable only for civil work. The immediate employer will be liable to register under the BOCW Act. For registration under BOCW, the appropriate government authority is the Labour Commissioner. 1% cess will be levied on construction costs and deducted when the bill is raised. The application should be made in Form 1.

Hi,

As mentioned in the post, it is generally used for civil engineering projects and has to be submitted before 30 days of the completion of the project or 30 days before the end of the current financial year. The submission will depend on how your company is registered. If shops and establishment, then you have to meet your local shop inspector; if ROC, then you have to contact the ROC office for registration.
