Worried About Background Check at Accenture Without Form 16? Here's My Situation and Concerns

shivani-tyagi1
In my penultimate job, the company did not deduct any PF or TDS from my salary, and the entire amount was transferred directly to my account. Since I was not in the tax slab, they did not issue a Form 16. Now, Accenture's background verification team is requesting the Form 16 from that employment. Is there a risk of the background check failing due to this issue?

Furthermore, when I checked my Form 26AS, there was no entry for the year I was employed at that company. I have provided them with my bank statements for the entire duration. Would this suffice, or could it lead to a verification failure?

Thank you in advance.

Relevance of Form 16 in Background Verification

If there is no tax deduction, then Form 16 is not relevant from the perspective of background verification (BGV). The same applies to Form 26AS. However, payslips, full and final settlement, and bank statements are helpful, I guess. It is better to talk to HR and convey all these upfront.
