My Employer, ASM Enterprise Pvt Ltd Bengaluru cites that as per company leave policies, I am eligible for PL encashment Only if I served 1year and six months. I haven't seen any such conditions in my offer letter and only general condition that I need to comply as per company leave policies.
During my employment, I was working on contract for my company's Mumbai client and due to pandemic, there's was IT budget issues and the work contract with the client was closed and my employer ASM Enterprise Pvt Ltd relieved me after 1 month notice period.

1.
My final settlement has been settled however, not the PL encashment I believe am eligible as per Govt rules for Private cos. on leave encashment, please clarify?
2.
Also any other legal step I can pursue against my employer for relieving me without giving any valid reason in writing???

Mr. Srinivasan,
You have not mention your duration of working.
PL is your earning leave and you are eligible after one year. During year you have to work 180 days. Previous it was 240 days.
As per rule you are not elegible if you have not completed days in a year as mentioned above.
Please share leave policy of your company.

Thank you Ji and yes I have completed 1 year 3 months and 11 days however, I was surprised to see my PL/EL was not encashed citing company leave policy of 1.6 year completion for eligibility. Now, am relieved from service and the finance dept is saying they CANNOT share any company leave policy.
