Dear madam,
Before interviewing the candidate , study his job description and job specification thoroughly well.
HR cannot add value in assessing the depth of technical knowledge the person is required to possess which will have to done by technical expert in the field.
HR can add value in assessing in general way whether he the candidate has handled similar product development projects in earlier jobs and his general fitment into the team in terms of salary parity, job level parity , attitude and values among other relevant things.
