Curious About the 6th Pay Commission? Let's Discuss Expected Salary Changes

What would be the pay in the 6th Pay Commission?

I cannot really anticipate as the process is still ongoing for the decision. I hope to see a better new year salary pay.

I retired on 31st December 2002 in Group B from DoT. My pension was fixed at Rs. 5188. I sold 40%, which is Rs. 2075. In 2006, 50% DA was merged as DP. Now, I am receiving a total pension of Rs. 9365. Could you please inform me about what my new pension will be from September 2008?

Would you kindly help me by email with the difference in the 6th Pay Commission for those of us who retired on 31/12/02? At the time of retirement, my basic was Rs. 10,500, and the average came to Rs. 10,375. My pension was fixed at Rs. 5,188, out of which I sold 40%, and the remaining Rs. 3,113 became the basic. In 2004-2005, 50% of DA was added as dearness pay, and now I am receiving Rs. 9,365 as pension. I retired from DoT as Group B.
