Struggling to Register on HCL Tech's PF Portal? Need Help with PF Number Format and Broken Link

I'm an ex-employee of HCL Technologies, Bangalore. I'm unable to register on the PF portal of HCL Tech because the "PF number format is not correct."

As per my payslip:
PF Number: HIL EPF Trust-HR/5572/199308

Kindly let me know the correct format of the PF number to be entered to complete the registration process. Also, the link "Click here for Correct PF format" is not working on the registration page. Kindly correct the same to avoid so many queries.

Hello Friends/Ex-colleagues of HCL, yes, definitely, this PF format is challenging. Finally, after 2 months of struggle, I got the correct format from the HCL PF Team.

Correct PF Format

GN/GGN/00 (Two Zeros and the 4 Digits as shown in your Payslip (Prefix this with just Two 00) and/Four Zeros 0000 and then 6 Digits as shown in your Payslip)

That's it. It works... Miracle... :-)

This is not working, and "Press here for PF Format" is available for namesake on that website portal, which you cannot click.

HCL PF Business Issues

HCL PF Business has to be reported to the government; they are the worst PF helpdesk in India. They don't even transfer your service history.

The GN/GGN didn't work for me. My payslip didn't have 6 digits but only 5 in the last section. I added a zero to compensate, but no luck!
