Seventh Pay Commission is in respect of the Central Government employees only. Even it will not have any impact on the pay and perks of the employees of the CPSUs. Therefore, it cannot have any impact on the employees in the private sector.
Of course, if any drastic change in the terminal benefits like gratuity is made, it may lead to a corresponding amendment in the PG Act,1972 as happened in the past but it cannot be sure in view of the passing of the new labor Codes very recently.
