This is related to missing details in the EPF account. I joined a small company in May 2008, and PF contributions were made until February 2021. Now that the company is almost closed, I am facing an issue where the date of joining EPF and EPS is missing in the UAN portal. Due to this, I am unable to file an online claim as the portal requires the date to be updated by the employer. Since the company is closed, I am unable to contact the employer for the necessary update despite having my UAN linked with Aadhar and bank account.
I have proof of joining through my offer letter and the PF passbook showing contributions from May 2008, the first contribution month. Is there an alternative way to update the missing data, or is it possible to file a physical claim form?
