Is My Gratuity Calculation Correct After 7 Years at My Company? Seeking Advice

ushsniaha.m@gmail.com
Dear Team, I have been working for an enterprise for 7 years and 2 months. I am the second person who will receive gratuity. The first employee who opted for gratuity received an incorrect amount due to some miscalculations, resulting in a smaller sum. My gratuity amount is $32,000 with a deduction of $28,900, based on a basic salary of $12,000. Could you please confirm the correct amount I am eligible to receive? Thank you.

Gratuity Calculation

Your gratuity calculation will be based on a salary of Rs. 12,000 in the absence of a DA/VDA component. The formula used is Rs. 12,000/26 x 15 x 7, which amounts to Rs. 48,461/-. Please note that the amount may vary if any of the working years are found not to be continuous.
