Can My Employer Split Their Contribution Between EPF and NPS? Seeking Clarity on Regulations

I have a query. Can a private company, as an employer, contribute 2% to PF and 10% to NPS (out of the 12% employer PF contribution as part of CTC)? Our company is presently covered under EPF regulations where 12% of the employee's share is deducted, and 12% of the employer's share is paid under EPF regulations.
