Notice Pay Deduction

Can we deduct the notice pay amount according to the terms of employment or labor law if the employee did not serve the notice period, and we are offering him a job with less than a 6-month tenure in a registered organization?

It would depend on the terms of employment of the employee and the labor laws applicable to your industry. Please elaborate.

Terms and Conditions of Appointment

The terms and conditions of appointment are binding for both the employee and the employer. The employee has to serve a notice period or pay an equivalent sum. If the employer wishes to release the employee before the scheduled date, they are required to pay the notice pay amount.
