My software company provides Saturdays and Sundays off. Are we still supposed to follow state rules of 7 SL, 7 CL, and one day off for every 20 working days?
Because as per the Shops and Establishment Act, only Sundays are supposed to be off. We are giving Saturdays off as well, so in total, we are giving 52 days off.
Also, is there a law to provide an extra holiday in case a national holiday like Independence Day falls on a Sunday?
