Hi Everyone, I have joined a company on 4th Jan'16 in Noida location and resigning on 28th Dec'20 (1 week left for completing 5 years).
So, am I eligible for gratuity?
For all employment benefits like salary, increment, leave, bonus, continuity of service, etc., notice period actually served by an exiting employee should be taken into account till his/her formal relieving from the organization. From 04-01-2016 to 28-12-2020, your total service comes to 4 years, 11 months and 24 days. Therefore, you are eligible for gratuity under the PGA,1972.
