Facing Unpaid Leave Due to Company Fund Shortage: How Should I Respond?

I am working with the DDU-GKY unit as a Unit Manager. On 28th Oct, the company asked me to go on leave without pay due to a shortage of funds, and this was done without any prior notice. Please advise me.
