Concerned About Losing Apprentice Recruitment Approval? Seeking Clarification from Peers

Logs
Dear Members,

I have a question regarding our permission from the Board of Apprentices. We are authorized to recruit up to 25 apprentices every year. My concern is if we do not recruit for more than one year, will the Board of Apprentices suspend this approval?

If the answer is yes, please provide clarification.

Best Regards,

Dear Member,

The Board of Apprentices has the right to cancel your registration if you are unable to fulfill the apprentice scheme regulations outlined in the Act. You are required to provide regular statistics to the Board of Apprentices. Based on the information you provide and inspections conducted, they will determine the continuation of the scheme within your organization.

Hi,

You may have to keep the record on a yearly basis, but I don't think there will be a cancellation.

Is there any restriction on the number of apprentices that I can employ in the factory? We have been engaging apprentices in Engineering so far. Now, we would also like to introduce Graduate Apprentices in our Quality Department.

Guidance on Procedure

Can somebody please guide me with respect to the procedure for the same?

Dear Logs,

Our friend Shri. MURUGAVELU has explained correctly. In case your company fails to engage an apprentice without sufficient/valid reasons, they may reduce or stop the vacancy. Read the Apprenticeship Act.
