Dear All, I am working with a construction company (New Join). In our company, we calculate attendance from the 24th to the 23rd of every month. I have a question regarding this process:
1) For the May attendance, we calculated from Sep 24 to Oct 23, i.e., 30 days.
2) For the month of June, we calculated from Oct 24 to Nov 23, i.e., 31 days.
If we issue a payslip to an employee for the month of November, how many days should I mention?
If an employee attended the entire month without issues in the salary breakup, for example, if they were absent for 3 days and were paid for 28 days based on the above calculation, the problem arises in mentioning the days on the payslip. I have to indicate 30 days for the month of November as per the month, but the salary was paid for 31 days. This calculation difference may affect if the employee submits the payslip to another company.
Thank you.
