Ex-Employee PF Withdrawal Dilemma: How Can We Assist with His Old Account?

sendmail.annu@gmail.com
Hello Everyone,

My name is Annu, working as an HR Executive in a manufacturing organization.

Issue with PF Withdrawal

One of our ex-employees has withdrawn the whole PF amount (using Form 19) without transferring the amount from his old PF account to another PF account. Now, he is requesting help with the process of withdrawing the PF amount from his old PF account.

Possible Solutions

Can we help him in any way? Please guide.

I once thought that although he has claimed his entire PF amount from our organization, his pension amount is still there, and technically his PF account is still active. So, can we transfer the amount from the old PF account to this PF account (from where he has already claimed his whole PF amount through Form 19), and then can he again claim for the final settlement of PF? Can this help? Please guide.

He has the same UAN for 2 PF accounts.

Regards,
Annu

The employee needs to rejoin for a short period at a certain establishment and promptly transfer all accounts to the new place. After this, their new account will allow them to settle the claim.

Thank you.
