Employment History and Background Verification Concerns
One of my friends was released from Company A with proper exit clearance on 11 July 2019. He had an offer from Company B and joined on 17 July 2019. Subsequently, he also joined Company C on 19 August 2019 but left both Company B and C on 2 September 2019. He resigned from Company B with approval and faced termination from Company C. However, he doesn't have any documents like experience letters from both companies; only emails are available.
Concerns About Hiding Employment Duration
Now, he has questions regarding whether he can hide this short-term duration. Both companies have made a record on the EPFO portal, but the PF contributions are missing, and the existing dates have not been updated yet. He is concerned whether this situation could be flagged during Background Verification (BGV) and how it might affect his future job prospects.
I am worried about what he should do next as he is feeling depressed about this uncertainty.
