Confused About Stamp Duty for Relinquishment Deed in Delhi? Seeking Clear Guidance!

Dear Sirs,

I want to know the rate of stamp duty applicable in Delhi for the registration of a Relinquishment deed. The deed is relevant to immovable property, and there are a total of 5 relinquishers who want to relinquish their rights to one co-owner (all are family members) without any consideration as per a family settlement. I have consulted so many people, and they give different opinions.

Please, can anybody help me?

In the Legal referencer for 2006, for release, it is noted as Rs 100/- in all other cases where the claim is above Rs 1000/-. Show the Draft Release Deed to the Registering Officer and get his clearance before Registering. That is the best when you have too many views, including mine.
