In PF & Gratuity Nomination, an employee mentioned a nominee to his wife and brother and allocated 75% to his wife and 25% to his brother. Is his brother eligible to receive 25% of the benefits under the PF & Gratuity Act now that the employee has passed away?

In both PF & PGA statutes, the nomination of a person other than a family member is invalid, and "family" doesn't include a brother. Therefore, the share designated to such an invalid nominee reverts back to the other valid nominee, and the entire amount could be paid to the valid nominee.
