@Laghuveera
filing claim does not means that the same is transferred, it has to be approved by 1) employer with DSC 2) field office, after the formal transfer of EPF, the old UAN is usually zero and the EPS account goes to the registers of pension, ask the employee to confirm himself in passbook portal that the claim is settled by department
once the transfer is executed in all means his UAN card in present member portal will start displaying the Date of Joining as recorded in previous establishment, it takes some time to reconcile the back records and update the portal
When the present UAN get updated with 10+ years of service, and his account is fully KYC complied with nomination filed, then the present employer can make exit
after the completion of above process, the employee will find the form10D on his member portal enabled to get filled
Without exit from EPF, no EPS claim can be filed, consult your legal advisor about the age limit of employees for retirement for your specific industry/sector under the specified rules
