Hi, I am HR with 4 Years of experience. worked for 2+ Years for a startup and helped to reach headcount from 15 to 50 in 1.5 Years with so many challenges. Recently on 4th September 2020, I was on emergency leave due to the ill-health of my grandparents at the same time, the Head of Indian Operations was terminated for no reason and I was pressured to work in emergency conditions on Sunday. I dropped a mail about my situation even to the CEO and told them I am on emergency leave.
Thought to help them on Monday i.e., on 7th September 2020, my login credentials are not working. Felt bad and I don't have a way to communicate with anyone in that company. I collected the email of the CEO and asked him for reason. He said security issues so changed mail credentials and asked me are you still interested to work with us. I was in shock and I don't know what's happening.
They terminated me on 5th September 2020 on Sunday for no reason and after 8 days, they sent termination mail to recover company assets.
I questioned them about the reason for termination. No reply and I demanded 2 months' compensation for improper termination.
They asked to serve a notice period and take compensation. Again I was shocked.
How an employer can terminate an employee who worked for 2+ Years without any reason and after sending proper termination, how can an employee serve a notice period?
Even for that I was ready and asked for job security for 2 months but no reply from them waited almost 15 days
Now, they are demanding me to pay 2 months salary to them and submit the laptop. I was ready to submit the laptop and asked to send people to collect.- No reply.
What can we do such as CEO and COO?

Any suggestions on how can I deal with such people. Because they are holding my experience certificate and blackmailing.
