Hi Shwetha,

The attrition rate for a particular month may be calculated by using the following formula:

Total number of employees who left the organization in that particular month / Average number of people employed by the organization during the particular month.

Further to my previous post, in order to calculate the rate of attrition, you need to divide the total number of employees who left the organization in a particular month by the average number of people employed by the organization during that month, and then multiply by a percentage. I forgot to mention the percentage.

Madhu

Hi Shwetha,

The attrition rate for a particular month may be calculated using the following formula:
Total number of employees who left the organization in that specific month divided by the average number of people employed by the organization during that month.

Hi Shweta,

Attrition Rate = No. of resigned of that month/ Available manpower * 100. For example, if on any starting day of the previous month the manpower was 80 and during that month 5 resigned and 10 joined, then on the last day of the month, Manpower would be 80-5+10 = 85. So, the Attrition rate = 5/85*100.

Hope the query has been resolved now.

Hi,

The formula to calculate attrition per month is:
Attrition rate = Total number of resignations in a month / (Total number of employees in a month + Number of new joiners in a month - Total resignations in a month) * 100.

Attrition Rate = number of employees leaving in the month / total number of employees on board that month * 100
