Like fresh B.Tech students recruited by companies through campus recruitment they are designated as Engineer Trainee - Production or Engineer -Trainee (QC) or Engineer Trainee (PPC) etc.
Similarly depending upon the domain, fresh MBAs can be designated as Executive Trainee - HR
Executive Trainee - Finance or Executive Trainee - Legal , Executive Trainee - Taxation etc.

but what is the designation of a Management Trainee?

Probation period, confirmation period and training period - like various terminologies are used
in an organization. A person undergoing training in a company, can not be put in probation period simultaneously.
After training, a person can be considered for regular employment, and probation period is the first phase in a regular employment.
