Please clarify my query. We have a factory license for 50 members only. Are factory annual returns (integrated returns) mandatory? Also, is a factory manager required?
Since you are a factory as per the Factories Act 1948, compliance with its provisions, including the appointment of a Factory Manager and integrated return, is required. It is better to nominate a Factory Manager; otherwise, the Occupier of the factory will have to attend to all the requirements necessary as per the Act.
