Ex-Employee Claims HRD Didn't Approve KYC in EPFO – What If Legal Action Follows During COVID-19?

The ex-employee has sent an email to management stating that HRD did not approve KYC in EPFO. If he takes any legal steps during the COVID-19 situation, please help me clarify this.

Employers have to regularly approve KYC filed by members with a digital signature.

There are certain issues with regard to the EPFO Unified Portal; it is not at all user-friendly. However, you will have to keep trying. Experience shows that better chances of logging in exist at odd hours in the night or during the weekly holidays. The employee has an option to approach the EPFO Grievance Cell, and they will follow up with you to resolve the matter. Then it will become serious.
