Late PF Payment During Lockdown: Are There Any Charges or Government Notifications?

Please confirm if any late payment or damage charges apply if we fail to make the PF payment during the lockdown. Is there any notification from the government? We made the PF payment for March 2020 in July 2020.

EPFO Extends Due Date for PF Payment

EPFO has extended the due date for payment of PF dues for the wage month of March 2020 up to 15.05.2020, as per its circular dated 15.04.2020. Furthermore, EPFO has provided relief from the levy of penal damages for delays in depositing PF dues during the lockdown, according to its circular dated 15.05.2020. For any late payments, you will be liable for interest as per the applicable slabs. Both circulars are attached herewith for your reference.
