EPF service history - withdrawal mismatch - not getting an option to claim the EPF from the 1st employer

I am trying to withdraw my EPF online. I had worked in two organizations in the past, from July 2012 to Feb 2015 and then from June 2018 to Jan 2019. Both of my service history and details are available in the EPF service history tab. Unfortunately, for the online claim, I am not getting an option to claim the EPF from the 1st employer; however, in my passbook, the amount shows as credit. I am only allowed to take out from my 2nd employer. Any reason why this is happening?

This may be due to two possible reasons:

1. You may not have been exited from the organization as yet.
2. Your claim transfer has not been originated.

You have to transfer the first EPF account amount to your present (second) EPF account. After the transfer, the amount will be added to your second account, and then you will be able to claim.
