How Is My Salary Affected by a Day's Leave and a Mid-Month Raise in August?

Hi, I have a doubt. If I am taking a leave (LoP) for a day in August, how is my salary calculated? If my salary is $4000, is the calculation correct as 4000 - ((4000*12)/365)?

Also, if I am getting a 20% increment on the 18th of August, what will be my salary? Is the calculation for this correct as ((4000*12)/365)*17 + ((4800*12)/365)*14?

Calculation Method for Salary with Leave of Absence

This is correct but a long-winded calculation.

In the first case: (4000*30)/31

In the second case: (4000*17)/31 + (4800*14)/31.
