Shortlisting criterion of recruiter during covid 19 pandemic if there is a gap of 1 year plus

Hi all,
I had resigned my job as an HR in May 2019. (total experience 1.75 years) After which I had done 2 certification courses (took me 4 months time to complete both the courses) and amidst all this my marriage was fixed. I have been trying to find job after completion of the certification course, but till now no luck due to Covid-19 n all.
I want to know, will this gap of 1 year+ (it is only 8 months+ if the certification time is not considered as a gap) be considered by a recruiter during shortlisting criteria amidst covid-19 pandemic?
