---"What if the Woman Complainant opts for Conciliation & Respondent Disagrees?"---

An Option of Conciliation is available only to the Aggrieved Woman-Complainant under Section-10 of the SHWW (P, P &R) Act 2013 before the Internal Committee initiates Inquiry into her Sexual Harassment Complaint.

In a case, as the IC commenced its Proceedings and informed Woman-Complainant of the Option of Conciliation available to her, in presence of the Respondent, she pondered and opted for Conciliation and when IC conveyed it to the Respondent, he declined to proceed with Conciliation at the behest of Complainant and requested the IC to proceed with full-fledged Inquiry in accordance with the Principles of Natural Justice to ascertain the Truth about her SH Complaints leveled against him.

Point to Ponder:-- What should the Internal Committee do in such a circumstance?
