Hi all, I'm working as an HR Generalist in a start-up for the last two years. I'm totally happy with my work and the exposure I have received so far. However, a question that keeps haunting me is how I can advance and develop myself to be in a better position in the next few years. What new things should I learn or what sites should I keep checking to stay abreast of the trends? Kindly let me know your suggestions.

For the beginning of your career in HR, working in a start-up company is sufficient. However, for advancement in your HR career, you need to change organizations. Try to seize an opportunity in a manufacturing setting, as true HR experience is gained in a factory environment. Once you progress in your career and enhance your professional qualifications, you can consider transitioning to Corporate HR.
