Every organisation has a separate committee with internal members and a external forming a division to handle this.

This is handled in most confidential manner and a details investigation is done whether this is a genuine complain and if any found guilty thereafter action is taken by the committee including management committee

All this handled confidentially without the news leaking to outside world.

Many a times it has been found to be fault compliant under grudge or some kind of revenge because a fair trial is required so that only guilty is punished if found.

Therefore an external member is always part of the committee so that decisions can be taken accordingly.

While the harassment case is going on some organisation may temporary ask the complainant and complainee to stay home or given a leave during such period.

Such investigations are to be settled quickly without taking much time by collecting evidences from the internal source, or CCTV camera recordings or some information from the system.
