Salary Cuts Due to COVID-19: Is It Okay to Note This on Pay Slips?

Dear All,

We are a small company in India. Due to no billing in April and May, we have reduced the salary for some of our staff. Can we mention this deduction is because of COVID-19 on the salary slip?

Kindly advise.

Instead of deduction due to Covid-19, you can mention Leave without pay (LOP) on the salary slip.
