The retirement age in my establishment is 60 years. Now I am approaching 58 years. Can I claim EPF pension from PF office and continue in service until my retirement at 60 years.

Dear Mr. Ravi,

You can claim EPS Pension 1995 (not EPF Pension as mentioned in your post) after attaining 58 years and can continue to be in employment and contribute to EPF. However, EPS contribution by the employer will go to the EPF fund. Please contact your HR department.

Dear Mr. Ravi,

To add to the reply given above, you may also opt to defer the EPS Pension 1995 (without contribution) until the age of 60, i.e., the actual date of superannuation. In that case, you will be eligible to receive an enhanced rate of pension.
